This is a clear outline from the SookoQ about how we handle your personal information when you use the Sooko mobile application. By downloading, opening, or interacting with Sooko, you’re letting us know you’ve read, understood, and agreed to what’s below. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Everything here applies to all Sooko users. It includes every way we collect, use, or protect data while providing our services.
· Details You Share Voluntarily
When you make an account, we may need your full name, a valid email, and date of birth—these help us set up your account securely. You can also add extras like a username, profile picture, or short bio to your profile if you want, but these aren’t required to use the app.
· Data We Collect Automatically
Sooko keeps track of things like your device model, operating system, and network type to make sure the app works well on your device. We also note how you use Sooko—which features you use, how long you’re on the app, and the paths you take through it. Unique device IDs help us keep your experience consistent.
· Location Data (If You Agree)
With your clear permission, we might access your approximate or exact location. This helps us offer features that make sense for where you are, like better local recommendations.
· Tools to Improve Your Experience
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tools to:
· Make moving around the app easier and improve its design;
· Check how well the app is performing;
· Show you content that fits your interests based on your app activity.
· We don’t collect, store, or use biometric data—no facial recognition, no analyzing facial features, nothing like that.
· Any photos you upload are only used for AI - driven style transformations. This is just for creative fun, not for identifying you.
· Your original and edited photos are stored locally on your device in the app’s history. When you delete them manually, they’re gone forever. Any temporary data from the AI process is erased right after the transformation is done—no action needed from you.
We use the data we collect to:
· Keep Sooko running (managing your account, fixing issues, providing support).
· Make your experience personal—like suggesting features you might enjoy based on what you use.
· Respond to your questions, send app updates, or alert you to security issues.
· Protect you and Sooko from unauthorized access, fraud, or other harmful actions.
· Follow laws and legal orders, and enforce our Terms of Service.
We might share your personal data in these situations:
· If you tell us it’s okay.
· With companies that help us run Sooko (like hosting services or payment processors). They can only use your data to do their job for us and must keep it secure.
· If required by law, court orders, or government requests (like police investigations).
· If Sooko is sold, merged, or its assets are transferred, your data may be part of that deal. We’ll ensure the new owner follows the same privacy rules.
We take steps to protect your information, such as:
· Encrypting sensitive data when it’s sent or stored.
· Using secure methods to verify your identity and control access.
· Regularly checking for security problems and training our team on data protection.
But remember: No online data storage or transmission is completely secure. We do our best, but we can’t guarantee absolute safety.
Under the law, you can:
· Ask to see a copy of the data we have about you.
· Ask us to correct data that’s wrong or incomplete.
· Ask us to delete your data in certain cases.
· Ask us to stop processing your data temporarily (like if you dispute its accuracy).
· Get your data in a standard, computer - readable format to use with another service.
· Object to us using your data for things like marketing.
To exercise these rights, email us at qiupen0821@163.com. We’ll respond as required by law.
Sooko isn’t intended for anyone under 17. We don’t intentionally collect data from kids. If we learn we have data from a child without parental consent, we’ll delete it right away. If you think this happened, email qiupen0821@163.com.
Your data might be sent to and processed in countries outside your home country, which may have different privacy laws. By using Sooko, you agree to these transfers. We’ll make sure your data is protected as described here.
We may update this policy from time to time. For major changes, we’ll notify you via a prominent notice in the app or email. If you keep using Sooko after the update, you agree to the new terms.
If you have questions or concerns about this policy or how we handle your data, email us at:
